ABOUT MBCC
“Mabuhay,” meaning life and growth, reflects our desire to see people flourish in faith through Jesus Christ.
Founded in 2005 in Winnipeg, Mabuhay Baptist Christian Church began as a small Bible study and has grown into a Christ-centered, multi-generational church committed to sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and serving our community.
Our church was established under the sponsorship of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Mid Canada (FEBMID), in cooperation with Church Planting Ministries Incorporated, and today we are grateful to be a member church of Fellowship Prairies.
OUR CHURCH COVENANT
We believe we are led by the Holy Spirit to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour, and upon profession of faith having been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we joyfully covenant together as one body in Christ. By the aid of the Holy Spirit, we seek to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; and to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines.
We also seek to contribute cheerfully to the support of the ministry, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations; to educate our children in the faith; to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; and to aid one another in sickness and distress.
Our Core Values
We value strong families, teaching children to know God’s Word, caring for one another in times of sickness and distress, and living with integrity, compassion, and reconciliation.
